Bay Watch 0919

Would have liked to have a broom available to help sweep up some of sand that unavoidably tracks in. Appreciated having the washer/dryer available. Nice unit and updated nicely. Although, the dishwasher didn't seem to work. Wouldn't mind seeing a few plastic cups in the room to take a drink down poolside... Thank you.

The room was exactly like in the photos. The views were great and close to the elevators. Bed was comfortable. The shower was by far the best part of the room. Water pressure was great! Loved the size of the TV in the living and bedroom. Plenty of storage for clothes. The pantry is a little tiny and awkwardly shaped, but we made it work. The room had a lockbox which was a plus. The restaurants on site were great and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive. We especially loved the bartender, she was super sweet! One negative thing was the lock pad to get into the room. Half the time it did not open. When we tried to enter, the door kept jamming like it was locked although it flashed green after entering code. Other times when you punched the numbers, it wouldn’t do anything. It was super frustrating with full hands or late nights when you just want to get into your room. I think the listing needs to be updated to state that you need to receive pool bands from the front desk upon check in. We did not know this, and only asked for a parking pass. The next day, we were stopped by security at the pool telling us we needed bands. We went to the front desk and got them, but the lady helping us was a little rude and stated we should have got them at check in. I told her we didn’t and only got a parking pass. We also had guests stay with us a few days and they had to pay $30 a day for parking across the street, however the listing says it’s $25. Other than the few negatives we can get past, we had a great stay.

The easy access

Loved the ocean view and the cleanliness of our room and premises. The shower was my favorite! Could have stayed in it for hours. Warm pools and hot tubs made for relaxing moments.

Booking online based on photos is ALWAYS a gamble. Our stay at 0919 Bay Watch was EXACTLY as shown and described online. It was such a nice surprise to discover a place to eat, at reasonable prices, on the premises, making it so nice to be able to grab a quick breakfast then head to the pool. Poolside you can order alcoholic and soft drinks and some food items without going into the building. All of the shared facilities and spaces were clean and well managed. Although the main parking was across the street, the brief walk outside was covered. We never had a problem finding a parking space. Loading and unloading is permitted at the main entrance, however expect a wait on peak days and times. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. We will definitely consider this resort and unit for our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfy and the walk in shower was a plus!!
