Cherry on the Grove

We enjoyed the house! It was perfect for our family of 8. It was clean when we arrived. Like other reviews, the house does need some work, but none of that affected our stay. The only things that would have been nice to know about is: 1-there is a gas grill available- we rented a grill because we were told there wasn’t a grill. 2- there’s no outdoor plug in for charging a golf cart. 3- a new water hose is needed! We will rent this house again!

Vacasa rented me a house with no working plumbing. I called, emailed and texted at least 20 times in 3 days with no response or resolution. At the end they refunded me $50 out of $1400. Absolutely ridiculous. Vacasa is managed from las vegas and seems to have no local teams to help renters.

Perfect 4 bedroom place. Gave everyone private quarters and a fun place to come together and play before bed.

This home was great for me and my family. The space, the cleanliness, even the neighbors were nice. We loved our stay, I highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay in the cherry grove or N Myrtle Beach area. The ocean is literally one hop over a street and the lovely water is there. A Walmart, Iga, gas station, even car wash is literally near the neighborhood you don’t have to worry about heavy traffic just to hit the store for a few things it’s all there. ❤️

This property was nothing like the photos advertised. From the moment we arrived, we encountered serious issues: Bathrooms had cracks in the walls and molding, and the master bath trim was loose. Bedroom doors wouldn’t shut properly, and the master bedroom door trim was detached. Interior doorknobs were loose, floors had cracks and gaps throughout, and mattresses were badly stained. Air vents were rusty, blinds in the living room were broken and missing pieces, leaving no privacy. Heating was inconsistent—half the house was freezing while the other half overheated. The master bathroom toilet leaked every flush and was unusable after day two, with no replacement provided. Wi-Fi was unreliable, forcing us to use a hotspot for work and streaming. Exterior back steps were unsafe, with nails sticking up out of the wood. We reported all of these issues immediately and asked to move or receive a refund. The rental company refused, stating we could not change properties and would forfeit our money if we left. This stay was unacceptable. The home was misrepresented, unsafe, and poorly maintained. Future renters should be aware that the property does not match its listing and the company does not stand behind its rentals.

If you’re looking for a great location on a budget, this home is it. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach. The home is spacious enough for a small family. The beds were comfortable and the amenities worked. I took stars away due to the terrible cheaply done renovations to the floors.
