Atlantic Escape

My family and i stayed in this unit 302 building 2 for 6 nights and immediately upon entry could smell the mold and mustiness. But it gets worse, i have pictures of it growing in huge spots on multiple walls, ceilings and around air conditioning vents. By the end of the trip 3 out of the 6 people in my family had a horrible chest infection and couldn’t stop coughing with chest tightness. Got better as soon as leaving the home for hours at a time. Didn’t want to stay there but spent too much money on it and couldn’t find anything else during peak season last minute. Also not one single room, bathrooms or kitchen had a GFI outlet! So dangerous. We had to reset the breaker a few times. Building exterior is falling apart including carpets, wood siding panels on the ground and the railing was broken in many places. Really stinks because the pictures are deceiving. All old and mix matched furniture items. Only positive is the pool was newly redone and actually very nice and location is great but this condo needs serious renovations to meet health and safety standards. This is my 10th year staying down at Myrtle beach with my family and by the far the worst rental we have ever had.

Location and price was perfect!

I would 100% stay here again and hope to since our weekend was cold and rainy. It’s a little dated but clean in the two back rooms and bathrooms but for what you pay, how convenient it is and the view…I’m not going to be too picky. I wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to friends and family. I recommend eating at Salty Brews Cafe 4 min drive away.

This rental is everything I wanted it to be! Gave off old school beach vibes. Not a ten million dollar McMansion condo but a lived in homey vibe. We loved every moment (except the overzealous security guards at the pool!). We did contact Vacasa about some maintenance issues and they were prompt in attempting to take care of them. Definitely would stay again!

The location and ease of reaching the beach were perfect. The pool, hot tub, and parking lot were kept clean and nice. Overall the room was fine there is just an infestation of ants on the property that would carry your supper away if left out to long. Also had a sever safety issue with the master bed room balcony. The whole banister and railing was nearly falling off. I made the customer support aware but no one ever came to fix. So it was unusable. Other than that everything else was more than adequate
