Sunlight Sanctuary

Welcome to Sunlight Sanctuary, a luxurious four-bedroom mountain retreat in the heart of Steamboat Springs, designed for extended stays of 30 nights or longer. Accommodating up to 11 guests and two well-behaved dogs, this exceptional home is perfect for families, groups, or remote workers seeking a productive mountain basecamp. Whether you're carving powder on world-class ski terrain in winter, hiking and biking through wildflower-covered trails in summer, or simply escaping to the mountains for a peaceful season of renewal in between, Sunlight Sanctuary offers an exceptional blend of comfort, style, and convenience that makes settling in for a longer stay feel effortless and rewarding, no matter the season.

Wake up each morning to warm radiant floors courtesy of the Ecobee-controlled heating system in winter, or throw open the doors to fresh mountain air and stunning west-facing views in summer. Brew your coffee in a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, stay seamlessly connected with high-speed WiFi and a dedicated workspace, and fill the home with music through the whole-home Sonos sound system across all three levels. End each evening on the deck watching the sun set over Sleeping Giant and the surrounding mountain ranges, with the private hot tub waiting to cap off the perfect Colorado day in any season.

With four beautifully appointed bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, everyone can enjoy both privacy and comfort. Each bedroom has its own designated bathroom, and three bedrooms feature luxurious ensuite spa-style bathrooms complete with walk-in showers and Toto Washlet toilets. Remote-operated shades throughout all bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room add an extra touch of comfort and convenience. Relax in comfort with whisper-quiet Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning units in both primary bedrooms and the main living, dining, and kitchen area—a rare luxury in the mountains. Remote-controlled ceiling fans with built-in timers in the living room and several bedrooms provide additional comfort during warmer months, while the Ecobee-controlled radiant heating system keeps the home cozy and inviting throughout the winter.

When it's time to unwind, Sunlight Sanctuary offers entertainment for every member of the group. The dedicated game room features a pool table, ping pong table, dartboard, board games, and a stylish bar area that's perfect for evenings together. An exercise room with new fitness equipment makes it easy to maintain your workout routine during longer stays. Stay connected while enjoying the mountains with high speed wifi, a dedicated workspace for remote work and a whole-home Sonos sound system, including both indoor and outdoor speakers across all three levels.

Outside, you'll find thoughtfully designed spaces to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Two large covered decks provide comfortable outdoor living areas, while the private hot tub is perfect after a day on the slopes or trails. Additional outdoor amenities include a gas grill, ample seating, a hammock, and a fire pit for memorable evenings under the Colorado sky. Located just a short drive from Steamboat's world-renowned ski slopes, Sunlight Sanctuary is an ideal home base for winter adventures. During the warmer months, enjoy easy access to hiking and biking trails, golf courses, fishing, hot springs, shopping, restaurants, and everything that makes Steamboat Springs a premier year-round destination. One of the home's most memorable features is the spectacular west-facing view. End each day with breathtaking sunsets from the back of the house as the sky lights up over Sleeping Giant, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening on the deck with family and friends.

Parking is easy with one garage space, additional driveway parking, and an EV charger in the garage. There is a ski rack and boot mat, making it easy to store and organize your gear after a day on the slopes.
