The condo served it's purpose, but it's age shows starting with your arrival - the front door is very difficult to open given the latch is so sticky and it seems to have not seen any maintenance in some time. The microwave occasionally works but usually trips the circuit breaker as soon as you turn it on, one sofa cushion collapses into the couch at an odd angle if you try to use it, and the floors were dirty. There also appears to be a sewage outfall about 100m into the ocean right in front of the unit. We noted these issues to management on checkin and they claimed they'd fix for future occupants, but worth looking elsewhere given the price this one is listed at.

We had a great time here. We read the reviews before hand and took our chances because there were some reoccurring issues however when we got there they had corrected all of them. The furniture that was complained about had been replaced. The beds had mattress covers to make them softer. There was a little smell a couple days in just in one bathroom however that smell was all around the island so I assume that just happens. We just kept the bathroom fan running and it was totally fine. We messaged the owner about it said there was a septic issue that they had worked on and did not smell it after that (we were only there another day though). The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. And the staff and workers were all very helpful and responsive if we need anything. I would for sure go back and stay again!

The mattresses seriously need replacing, especially the one in the beach-view bedroom!!! We stayed in the A1 unit for 10 days—two couples. Advertised as two queen beds. Not two queens! This was a major problem for our group as we have 3 people over 6 feet in our group. The room by the front door is a queen, the other definitely a double, and of very poor quality! Not what we expected for a vacation rental that claimed to have two queen beds. After our first night, we reached out to the "concierge" to voice our concerns about the horrible beds. We were told that mattress toppers had been ordered and were supposed to arrive before our arrival. No mattress toppers ever showed up and the concierge never responded to our follow-up queries. The furniture is falling apart. One wooden outdoor chair collapsed under the weight of a size 8 woman. Couch is a very uncomfortable piece of furniture. The kitchen chairs are very flimsy and we experienced foot rests falling off. As for the kitchen, the cutlery is mismatched and flimsy. Only one side of the toaster works The coffee pot is a two-cupper. Bizarre for a 2br unit. A couple of days in, the unit was overtaken by a scent of sewage. Other units in the building had the same issue, so apparently a building issue, and this could be a common issue on the island, so we're not placing blame on the unit. The view is gorgeous. When the sargassum is blooming and the wind blows right, the water is not any good for 10 feet. Again not the fault of the property, but something to keep in mind if renting at this complex. We saw the insides of a few other condos at this property and they were very well renovated and well stocked. Bottom line? There’s potential for the property, but keep your expectations low. The unit is for sale, which probably explains why no money has been spent on it recently. This condo needs some serious TLC.
