This property is mostly owner operated. There are full time, seasonal and long time residents that made us feel very welcome and included. The pool is fantastic and the grounds keeper keeps the area top notch

I cannot recommend this place and this resort highly enough. The property is in a quiet area but close enough to shops and restaurants and only 15 minutes away from downtown area. The people are wonderful with a mixture of permanent residents part time owners and travelers like me. I was in San Pedro for a month and originally was just staying here a week. Ended up coming back for 2 more weeks here.

Just about a mile south of the paved road, this unit is in a great quiet location with several bars/restaurants within walking distance (but recommend renting a golf cart to explore everywhere). This unit is not directly oceanfront but does not deter the beautiful pool and ocean just a few meters away. The Hula Bar is directly in front of the complex on the pier and offers daily happy hours and great food. We would definitely stay in this condo/complex (referred by the locals as the pepto mismol place) again.

I have stayed at Caribe Island multiple times; the grounds & pool are well-maintained and the beachfront location is perfect — south of the hustle & bustle of town but with a mini-mart & a couple of restaurants within walking distance. This basic condo met all of my needs perfectly — comfortable bed, clean, plenty of towels, kitchen good for basic meals, hot shower with good pressure, mini-split in the bedroom & ceiling fan in each room. Staff were very responsive & helpful.

The location of these condos is great - away from a lot of commotion. The house manager was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. But there were a lot of issues that would leave me to not fully recommend this location. Broken toilet that couldn't be fixed same day, dirt in between the sheets of the main bed, plumbing issues in shower drain from upstairs unit, and construction occurring without warning at early hours. Was still a comfortable and nice place to stay. I am just likely to not return.
