Beautiful ocean view and a great private pool were the highlights of our stay. The space is open and airy, with a nice selection of board games and books. However, the kitchen amenities (stove, toaster, pots & pans), as well as the beds and bedding all need upgrading. If both levels are rented, there aren't enough functioning loungers. Shaded seating under the palapa would be a helpful addition. Overall, while the location and pool are lovely, the quality did not match the price paid. (Currently staying at a much better property at a different location nearby with a comparable price.) With updates and better maintenance, this property could better match its potential.
The communication with the property management from the beginning was horrible. Upon arriving to San Pedro, it was storming, although I was told early check in was available it was not accomodated. Upon arriving, I was given the wrong code to enter the property and waited until the staff arrived to ensure the home was ready to get in. The next evening I woke up to find there was no water. I called and called to find out what was going on where I was accused of breaking the pipes (outside pipes) I continually called for updates and spent a weekend without water having to get a bucket to get water from the pool to use in the toilets to use the restroom. The water was repaired mid day on Monday and there was still no follow up. I at one time argued with someone from property management (via text) where she accused me of lying about it raining (i sent her a video) It was very hard to enjoy the home without being able to properly bathe, use the restroom, cook or even wash your hands, brush your teeth. Beautiful view with a long peir and palapa at the end
Everything about View the Blue was perfect. Anna, the Operations Manager for San Pedro was extremely helpful and made our vacation 100 percent stress free. We would do this trip again and book the View the Blue.
Wonderful house tucked away, 3 1/2 miles from town center. Beautiful view of the ocean and perfect star gazing location. Pool is a bonus. Large, breezy porch for alfresco lunches. Everything was well stocked - drinking water, towels, kitchen utensils, games and even olive oil for cooking. Broken AC was fixed quickly.
You need to rent a golf cart to get there, and the road is unpaved, but this place is worth it.
