C2 at Blue Water Beach Villas -Gold Standard Certified

Overall, we loved our stay at Blue Water Villas. It was what we were looking for, but read on, as this property may not be right for you. Pros (what we wanted): -It's quiet. We often has the pool and grounds area all to ourselves. Other guests were quiet and respectful. It's away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro/Secret Beach. Don't come here if you want to party all night. -The grounds are meticulous. Cheers to Derrick the grounds keeper and the other gentleman who manages the property. Outstanding. The pool is pristine and grounds are kept beautifully. -The villa, overall, is great. Everything we needed. We mostly cooked our own food. Clean and well maintained. -Location was what we wanted. Out of the way and quiet. We didn't mind renting a cart and driving to the grocery store, etc. -Scuba shops/tours/etc will pick you up at the dock without issue. Cons (not so much for us, but things you should be aware to help make your decision): - There is sea grass/sargassum on the beach. DO NOT expect to swim in the ocean at the property. It is impossible to keep clean and is not the fault of the villa or groundskeeper. Derrick works tirelessly to clean the sea grass, but the next day it's all back again. If a minor smell (that you quickly get used to) is outside of your comfort level, choose another vacation spot. Sargassum is effecting many countries/beaches, not just Belize. - The villa is 40 minutes by cart from San Pedro. About 15 minutes to the nearest grocery store, Palm Super Market. If you don't want that, choose something closer to town. - Some things in the villa are getting a bit worn/tired. Not a big deal, but don't come expecting everything to be pristine and brand new. Honestly, I was annoyed by some visitors complaints. If you have an extremely thin comfort level and very high expectations, you would be better choosing expensive accommodations that will meet your high-end needs. Blue Water Villas was everything we wanted and needed. We would highly recommend this villa. It is exceptional for the price.

Great place, very clean and spectacular view. Away from the bussel of San pedro but close enough to enjoy the town

Really nice, modern, updated, clean and beautiful place to stay. It's a little out of the way if you want to be right in town (30 mins san pedro, on a golf cart, which is a must!) But its the perfect get relaxing away. I went into town a few times each day anyways just to check things out.

We had a very enjoyable week. There is a new dive shop a close walk to the north that will pick you up at the pier in front of the condo fort snorkeling or fishing trips.
