Grampa Puli at Isebei Guest House -Gold Standard Certified

Great location and privacy. Comfortable studio. But unlike advertisement, no ocean view, just a view of a house across the street. Can be noisy at times but that was expected given the location.

This stay worked for us, we probably wouldn’t stay again but these days you get what you pay for. It was pretty clean overall, the beds were clean. They only provided two towel for three guests for three days. It was not enough and I couldn’t figure how to get ahold of someone to ask. It has the most bugs out of anywhere we stayed. Mold and cockroaches in the bathroom. It wasn’t super bothersome but could be to some. The ac also doesn’t blow ice cold, just cool enough for a little relief but it’s okay cause at night all you get is a thin top sheet. lol Overall it wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t necessarily choose to stay there again.

Once we arrived at Isebei we could relax and enjoy the small beach town. Getting there was problematic with difficult directions and our inoperable phone. .The community and Garifuna culture were engaging and enjoyable.

Short 2min walk from the beach and great food all around. Markets right next door. We like fresh air so we didn’t use the AC but it’s available and the room does get warm when the windows are not open. Bed was comfortable and it was good for our family of 4. There’s also a room right next door that could be rented if needed for more people

Everything was clean, equipment functioning, sea shore just couple of metres far, excellent food nearby. Thank you.
