We liked this stay! It was clean, and safe, and met our needs! It's large for a 1 bedroom and the amenities are for the most part good. I have a few things I'd recommend that the company do better on. Communication: It's clear that whoever is managing this property, is not on island. I had to badger then to send me check-in/Out instructions. Check-In should be sent automatically 24 hours before they stay, I had to send multiple messages to get them, and we didn't have a Belize SIM card, so relied on Wi-Fi, so not having them before leaving our home in the USA was stressful! It also took updated of 12 hours to get a response for anything related to this stay, unless I made threats of writing a bad review… Bikes: The two included Bikes are possible the worst two bikes on Caye Caulker… When we arrived the bikes were chained together using two locks, we had to wait 12 hours to ge the combo for a single lock, luckily my boyfriend picked the lock of the second, this delayed us, this stay is a 30 min walk from the Split, so the bikes are an incentive to stay, and we didn’t have them for the first day, which was annoying. Aside from that, these bikes are broken, the seats don’t adjust, and they are extremely dangerous to ride. My boyfriend and I are both big cyclists, so we made do, but if you are not actually skilled at bikes, you’ll crash for sure! We would have not chosen this place if we new the bikes were so bad, we literally picked it for the included bikes. On the whole, you get what you pay for, this place is very affordable and we were grateful for that, it could use 2 new bikes and better communication, then I’d say 5 stars.
