Beds and pillows were so comfortable, great place to stay for a group.

Alexa R2026-03-29

We are a group of 5 friends and really enjoyed this home. It was spacious and we appreciate the AC in every bedroom. There was a bottled water jug when we arrived, which is very helpful. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds. The only difficulty we encountered is that we did not have a car and the home is about a 25 minute walk from the city center. There are no taxis regularly driving by this area and no one replied to the taxi number listed in the guest binder. If you don't have a car, you may need to walk into the city center to find a taxi and get the driver's card for any future transportation. It was not a big issue for our group, but with the very hot and humid weather, the need to walk for 25 minutes to find a taxi might be difficult for some guests. One other minor issue was that it's a bit difficult to find the home - you can use the coordinates provided on Vacasa, but when we ordered food delivery or had a taxi meet us, they often had slight difficulty. It might be nice to put a Vacasa sign on the left-hand side of the yard so that it's easier to find.

We loved staying here but to be honest it was our second choice to another VACASA property that is nearby and was not available for our dates. The home is well-furnished with very comfortable beds that make you not want to get up in the morning. We had some small issues finding the home and it is on an unpaved road with trees surrounding the general area so it was difficult to find in the dark and rain. Our contact with the staff was friendly and they resolved any issues quickly. Maybe bring some citronella candles because mosquitoes will follow you when walking in the house. As someone posted here all the neighbors have howling dogs. I fully understand that it's something VACASA cannot control but it is something to take note of if you are a light sleeper. Also, the home is equipped with security/storm windows with metal slats which makes you feel safe but you either have them open to let light in or you use the a/c but are forced to turn all the lights on inside the home. Overall a positive experience at this property and we even extended our stay another night. It was restful and good base for heading out to the family activities that this area of Belize has to offer. Our family would definitely consider this property for a future stay once more. We are from Guatemala and drove 13 hours to get here and ended up feeling well-rested.

The location was great. A well stocked grocery market was close and restaurants were nearby. The neighbors dogs barked all night which was very annoying. Also, we had no hot water for 3 out of our 4 nights. Seems like this place could use a little upgrade. Don’t know what to do about the dogs, though.

House was nice.

Rebekah B2025-05-21

The house was spacious and lovely. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing stay. AC was invaluable. Location felt safe and was quiet enough to wake to the jungle sounds each morning. The only issue we had at all was the neighbor’s dogs barking and howling a lot during the night. Woke everyone up several times a night. But that isn’t anything against this host. Just something to note, if you’re super sensitive to that for whatever reason.
