Recently stayed with my family and it was the perfect location to explore San Ignacio and the Cayo District. It was far enough outside of town that it was quiet, but was a quick drive for dinners/activities. The pool was extremely refreshing in the evenings after a day of exploring. Kitchen had everything that we needed and the rooms were very spacious. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back to the area.

We were at La Rana for two nights, but we were very comfortable, it was very clean. The kitchen does need some better cooking pots and a baking sheet or pan would have been useful, but all in all it was good for a short stay. We used the nice but small pool and it was very calm, relaxing, refreshing and super clean. We didn't have a car, but the concierne, Jovanni was outstanding, helping with transport, restaurant reservations, recovering lost phone!!! Left in the taxi....Amazing!
