The location was excellent and the house had a lot of charm, but for nearly $3,000 for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend, we expected a much smoother experience. We arrived to ants throughout parts of the house, a roach/palmetto bug in the dishwasher, and some cleaning issues that should have been caught before check-in. The middle bathroom doors also repeatedly jammed, which became frustrating late at night and early in the morning. The Wi-Fi was another major issue. Cell service on the island was overloaded during the holiday weekend, and the Wi-Fi barely reached the front bedroom, making it difficult to stream or work online. Overall, the property has potential and the location is hard to beat, but the maintenance, pest control, and connectivity issues made the price feel much higher than the experience delivered.

We found this home to be charming. The back room with it's own bathroom was perfect for the older adult male with us. There was plenty of room for us to dine together and visit. The rooms are small, which is fine, but it was difficult to find space for suitcases and clothes. The Wifi was not consistent and not working more than it was. We have rented with Vacasa before and have always found them to be responsive and helpful.

The house itself was very nice and clean. We were originally in a different house, but we had no AC and with a 4 month old baby we could not do that, so the staff was generous enough to let us move houses. We had no issues until we left and one of the people in our house happened to lose their engagement ring while packing and didn’t notice until we were over 2 hours away. We contacted staff immediately and sent a picture. We were told they told the cleaning company to look for it. I contacted them at 8:30 am and still hadn’t heard back by 5:30 pm, so I called to get an update and was told the cleaning company has not gotten back to them yet and could have possibly been there before I called, but our checkout time was not until 10 am, so there was no reason they should’ve been there before I contacted them to let them know it had been lost. They supposedly had someone else checking in at 4 pm as well so by 5:30 the cleaning staff should’ve been there and gone already as well. It is now been over 24 hours and have absolutely no update on the situation.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, cute home. The location is perfect, it's close to all the fun and close to the water. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in all the serenity. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed and the place was so very clean! We have already booked our next stay here!
