Gulf Place 19

We really enjoyed staying here! The condo was very clean, plenty of kitchen supplies, beds were comfortable. It was a very easy walk to the beach or pool. We loved sitting out on the deck for sunset. The porch was nice to sit on with the fan and had a great space to sit and eat lunch. We would love to come back! The overall location of the condo is very close to several restaurants and other activities. We brought our own beach stuff but the condo definitely had plenty of chairs and umbrellas if you don’t have your own.

The condo is updated and beautifully decorated. Amenities are as described. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys for kids are all provided. A game closet full of games and puzzles. We used the pickle ball paddles and balls provided to use the court behind our condo. The screened in porch has a beautiful view of the ocean. A short walk outside to a deck right at the edge of the sandy beach. We fell in love with this place and want to return!

Gulf place 19 is a lovely, spacious unit. It was the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. While they have beach chairs, umbrellas etc we weren’t able to use them because of the cold weather last week. We did however enjoy the sunsets from the private deck area which is right on the beach. We highly recommend this unit. And hope to return with our family in the future!

Excellent location and unit! Probably the best stocked unit we have ever rented at the beach! Chairs, toys, and wonderfully stocked kitchen! Excellent pool and beach access! This was our 2nd time at Gulf Place and it’s the best of the best!

Location

Overall I would give this a 3.5 star in it's current state. Unit 19 has potential to be a 5 star unit, but really needs some attention. The carpet desperately needs replaced as it is dirty and has many humps/tripping hazards in it. It made us concerned that maybe this is damage that wasn't repaired after last year's hurricanes which is gross. There are multiple stains on the couch. We washed our sheets mid trip and there are stains all over the mattress topper which really grossed us out. Should consider a protective cover rather than a pillow topper. Keurig was full of water upon arrival which smelled really gross so we elected to not use it for the week. Dishwasher face is cracked and really loud when running. Trash from previous guests under furniture. The bathroom door in the main bedroom has been replaced with a shade which allows a ton of light into the bedroom when someone uses it middle of night. I wish we could attach photos I've taken of all these concerns. Now for the positives. The location is great. Grounds well kept. Pool is nice. Instant access to beach is nice. Designated parking. Kitchen well stocked. Some updates throughout.
