You can reserve both sides of the duplex by booking 'Beacon by the Sea Retreat' for the ultimate beachside retreat. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, group getaway, wedding celebration, or simply want room to relax by the sea, Beacon by the Sea Retreat offers an exceptional luxury setting for your Gulf Coast escape. Ideally located just one-tenth of a mile from the Beach House Restaurant and one of the island’s premier wedding venues, this spacious home provides both convenience and elegance for your stay. THINGS TO KNOW Pool heat is included and maintained at 80°F. Additional pool heat to 85°F is available upon request for $32 per day plus tax. A 48 hour notice is required. Heat may not be available if temperatures drop below 65 degrees. We will not be accepting payments for pool heat for the months of May through October No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.

We had a great time at Beacon by the Sea. The location was fantastic - walking distance to the beach and close to a trolley stop. There are lots of stairs which I didn't realize when we booked our stay. It was not a problem but we had to keep a close eye on younger kids. There was an elevator for people who are unable to do stairs. The space was spotless, plenty of space to relax, and amazing views of the sunset from the roof. Would stay here again!

My family and I recently stayed here for spring training. It is perfectly located within steps of the beach, and right in the heart of Bradenton Beach, meaning you can walk to everything. It is a newer build and super clean. Has a great rooftop deck where we watched the sunset from one evening. And a little heated pool on the bottom that the teens loved using. Honestly, even the pickiest out of the bunch said it was wonderful. We were very pleased and would rent it again. Things for future renters to know, based on my experience… Communication from the host is basically nonexistent. That was annoying. I either never got an answer to a question I asked or it took days for them to respond. It honestly seemed like I was communicating with a bot when I did finally get a response. So there’s that. I could never get a straight answer around if the unit provided beach towels. Vacasa ultimately said no, so we all packed them in our suitcases to only find out when we got there that, yes, they actually do have beach towels for use. They also have boogie boards, inner tubes, balls and other toys, etc for use. The elevator was tricky in that the doors were not easy to use. My nephew got stuck inside at one point because the door was so difficult to open. We ultimately stopped using it. The front door to the unit was also not the easiest to use. The code they gave was super long and I had to type it in multiple times before it finally worked. We ended up just leaving one of the sliding glass doors open to come in and out. I did not realize when booking that this is a duplex and you do share the pool below. You can rent both sides though if your group is large enough, and it would be a great property to do that.
