Casa Del Sol A

We really didn’t love anything and this unit was not up to our usual experiences with VRBO. This property was rated a 9 (Wonderful) but I would seriously question the accuracy of “wonderful”. The HVAC was poorly designed and maintained. Furniture was not comfortable and nothing but worn tile for flooring. The master bedroom bed was comfortable, not so much the second bedroom mattresses. Refrigerator is old, no ice, and no garbage disposal. Not much thought into adequate table and counter space. It’s a shame actually because the area is quite beautiful but if you’re looking for comfort and convenience, this is not a unit I would recommend.

We had a delightful stay at Casa Del Sol A as we have previously. The property is so close to the sea it is unbelievable - just 50 yards across the road to the glorious beach, and only 250 yards to the lovely Bridge Tender Inn which we enjoyed most nights. It is a truly lovely position to be in, although the house is a little on the traditional side, and perhaps a little tired, not ultra modern like some properties. Accepting that, the house was clean and well-presented with good air-conditioning and a lovely little pool for dipping into after a hard day on the beach. we would recommend Casa Del Sol A for anyone who wants to g et away from it all!

​While the location of this apartment is excellent, the experience was unfortunately downhill from there. I cannot recommend staying at this property due to major sanitation and maintenance concerns. ​The most severe issue was a massive cockroach infestation. We encountered a large number of them throughout our short stay—I have photographic evidence of every single one. While the host did eventually send pest control, it was too little, too late for us; the property felt completely unsanitary for the duration of our trip. ​Beyond the pests, the property was poorly prepared for guests: ​Maintenance: We had issues with a blender blowing a fuse, which—while fixed quickly—was just another frustration in a series of equipment failures. ​Cleanliness: We arrived to find sand in the bedding. As there were no spare linens provided, we were forced to wash the sheets immediately. ​Lack of Basics: The kitchen was missing almost all essential items, including measuring cups, mixing bowls, and grill utensils. We also couldn't find basic cleaning supplies to handle a spill. ​Wasteful Requirements: Because there were no basic amenities provided, we were forced to buy large, unnecessary quantities of supplies for our short stay, which was incredibly wasteful. ​Communication: We were incorrectly told no beach equipment was provided, which led to significant, unnecessary stress and potential extra expense before we arrived. ​We were unable to change our plans, so we had to stay, but the combination of the infestation and the ongoing maintenance issues essentially ruined our vacation. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

We loved unit. A! We loved the large back porch and all the amenities! Beautiful pool, and beach right across the street. Quick walk to Bridge street and many restaurants. We already booked for next year!

We were right across the street from the beautiful beach. Bridge Street was just 2 blocks for walking to restaurants and shops. It had a nice pool which was warm enough for us to swim in.

We booked this getaway for our friends 60th. The house was very cozy and clean with outstanding view from the balcony. We will definitely consider coming back again!
