Sunrise Garden #11

Loved everything about this place. The rooms are clean, private and just roomy enough to be perfect for a week long stay. Having grown up on Anna Maria Island, I'm always looking for that Old Florida charm like this place has. The pool with surrounding trees for privacy from the road is sublime. The grill area is exceptionally handy and well kept. The location overall is really optimal as well. Walking to the surrounding nearby shops was great and walking to the beach directly up the street only took 10 minutes. Highly recommend this stay.

The location was perfect for us, quiet with not a lot of traffic. It was close to a wonderful restaurant and the beach area. We appreciated that we could bring our dogs, too.

If you’re looking for a smaller space for one couple that’s pet friendly, this is a great option. We’ve stayed at this location a number of times now and are never disappointed. The pool is fantastic and everything is walking distance.

We have been booking at sunrise restorts for several years. We have stayed in a few cottages. We have our 😍 favorite. For us 11 was great, Clean and had most of what we needed! Shower was clean, kitchen could've used a large salad size bowl and the bed room could use a full length mirror for us ladies . One thing we did not enjoy about this particular cottage is the fact there is no door separating the bed room to living area. ( some people may be ok with this 👌) but for us, it was a privacy, and sleeping comfort issue, with partner needing to be up later or earlier etc. We did not realize there was no privacy door/s our bad for not checking but we really needed the break . The grills are not well maintained even though they are nice grills they were dirty and had no grill brushes to clean them. We bought ribeyes we couldn't grill and the kitchen stove does not heat high. FOR YOU locals THAT LOVE TO GRILL LIKE US, BRING FOIL AND A GRILL SCRUBBER, PREFERABLY METAL BRISTLES. The pool area is always very nice. They are fresh, clean towels, provided and a shower that you can use to rinse off All that beach sand. The pool is surrounded by a very pretty tropical foliage, there are lounger chairs and chairs with tables and umbrellas for some nice shade, if you'd like to take a nap after a long day at the beach. We are already planning our next trip here for a long week.And now we know what we need. Honestly, a very nice, peaceful place. Close to beaches and restaurants You can literally walk to. Try the waterfront! Great calamari! The porch and Harry's is very good dinning and the sushi up the road is best. The walk to main beach is 7 minutes. ;) can't wait to go back. Pine Street is one road over, whoop@ lots of cool places on that road.

The location of Sunrise was wonderful. As a walker i could walk to everything. The property itself was just so so. If you are looking for an upper mid to upper range property this is not your place. Location perfect. Guess you cant have it all.
