A car is not required as Anna Maria’s top attractions are all within walking distance. There is also a free trolley service, and plenty of rideshare options. However, a car is recommended if you plan on traveling off the island to nearby Tampa, Sarasota, or St. Pete.

You will have the home completely to yourself, but our management team is available 24/7 in case of emergency.

First thing to know is it’s on the bay and about 6 blocks from the ocean. If you drive to the beach, it’s going to be $60 a day to park. So, get some bikes or a golf cart. The bay is about a block and a half and it’s beautiful too, in its own way. As for the property, the door is a little tricky. Other than that, it’s perfect. It’s clean, cozy, minimalist, but has everything you need conveniently in front of you. We cooked a couple big meals in the kitchen and we didn’t have to digging around for pots or spatulas. It was all in the logical place. The other thing to know is there’s usually a bit of noise from the people upstairs. 2 different families stayed above us during our stay and we heard them. They didn’t keep us awake over the box fan we brought. All in all, it’s great for the price but it’s a hike to get the beach and that part of the island is always extra crowded and buzzing!

The apartment was very nice, you could hear the neighbors upstairs all the time. My main issue was the front door, too many numbers for the code and if one sticks then you need to wait until it resets. A simple key (inside lockbox) should be enough, charge whoever loses it and that’s it. The front door needs to be replaced, it’s bloated so it doesn’t close right, the lock from inside always feels like the door is open. Besides that, it was a very nice place and definitely will be visiting again.
