East 6th Historic Loft

Location was good - it’s 6th street so it’s very loud. The loft is nice but difficult to find and the instructions are unclear. They did not send one of codes to get into the lockbox and the other code was 9 digits. It was dark and hard to find which light switch worked for which light. The bed was comfortable but the sheets weren’t. It was clean and spacious, but won’t stay here again.

Great neighborhood you can walk to several restaurants great music venues, local bars. Unit itself was nice open and inviting.

Love the comfy beds, the spacious loft and the excellent location for East Austin fun.

The place is cute and was clean enuf, but there were challenges for sure. First, getting in was a challenge. The instructions were wrong. We never were able to get into the second lockbox for the key, so we had to cut the key from the first lockbox just to have a way in. There were 3 of us staying 4 nights and we were given a total of 2 washcloths. The sink in the smaller room took literally an hour to drain. The walls are so thin. The bedroom doors were very squeaky and so are the floors so forget sleeping in if anyone gets up. Street noise was also a big issue into the a.m. on the weekend nights. Even with all of that I’d consider staying here again for the great location. Lots of music venues and several restaurants within walking distance. Also, we enjoyed the rooftop terrace -great place for coffee in the mornings.
