Just a few blocks from the Colorado River, this townhouse is close to downtown but in a quiet enough neighborhood that you'll feel far from the hustle and bustle. The full kitchen is perfect for cooking up full meals to enjoy at the end of a long day of exploring. The walled-in private patio is perfect for dinners or just enjoying a book and a glass of wine.

What's nearby:

Central Austin has its own unique character, even though downtown is only three-and-a-half miles away. Enjoy a cupcake at Mozart's Coffee Roasters or pick up some Buffalo Cauliflower Wings at the Beer Plant, both within one mile of the townhouse. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore Lady Bird Lake three-and-a-half miles out, or have a jog around Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail (which runs up and down the river). Of course, you have to take a picture with the Greeting From Austin Mural before you leave - it's just five miles out, and you'll be able to explore the Bouldin Creek neighborhood!

Location was great. Small spaces throughout but to be expected. Only 1 Bathroom - as advertised but a nuisance. TV was unacceptable - not having a smart tv with easy access to any streaming service - at least not intuitively - was a real pain.

Wonderful location and quiet neighborhood close to the University and downtown. Furnishings were fine, bed comfortable and a nice outside sitting area overlooking the street. Mozart's, a great casual neighborhood eatery is only a 10 minute walk away as are the boat ramps to Lake Austin/Lake Lady Bird. Loved this old Austin location and would definitely stay here again.

It is very comfortable and Tarrytown is a lovely part of Austin. The carpet is soft and thick, and the king bed is very comfortable. Good air conditioning!

Location, location, location. This townhome is well located in a beautiful neighborhood. The property, however, needs help. The furniture is uncomfortable, dated and badly chipped along with a musty smell. The bed sheets had two flat sheets, no fitted sheet so it slides around whenever you move with non matching pillow cases. The shower is literally 2 ft x 2 ft-barely enough room to turn around in. The good news, the property manager, David, is always responsive and on top of anything that needs immediate attention. He quickly remedied the bedsheet situation, but sadly that doesn't make up for the dilapidated property.

Stayed here several times. Home still needs upates/deep clean. Cold AC ! Comfy, quiet and in a neighborhood with multimillion dollar homes! FYI - note you will be parking on a downhill street. Keep that emergency parking break on! RECOMMEND.
