Great VRBO! Don’t hesitate, just book it!!
We had a staycation with our family for two nights over spring break. The house itself is spacious and laid out well for multiple people. The backyard fencing was not what we expected especially with allowing dogs to stay. Most of the fence is a makeshift metal fence that was leaning in many places. The neighbors are visible from the yard and if you use the pool you have a three story house looking in. Even though the pool and hot tub appears to have a heater, it never changed in the temperature so never heated the pool. We were not able to use the pool or hot tub. There were places throughout the house that were not cleaned like light switches, under the TV console, noticable cobwebs. Some of the bedding was dirty so we had to change it out. Upstairs in the TV room there was a dirty glass and sprite can left there. The lawn crew came Tuesday in the afternoon unexpectedly. At 8:30 am Wednesday the pool cleaning crew came unexpectedly. This cause my dogs to bark uncontrollably so everyone in the house woke up. Not knowing these crews were coming during our stay is a concern since we had our dogs. If they were in the yard they could have been able to get out of the opened fence. The house is a nice getaway from the main Austin area. We enjoyed our stay but the things I mentioned should have been known to us before booking (the pool) and during our stay (maintenance crews).
stay was great, soo roomy and homie! sad our trip was short we didn’t get too use the pool cause the weather wasent too great! but the house is lovely and would recommend to anyone! hope to visit again and stay in the future.
Could’ve been more put together and prepared. House needed some work done in rooms where racks/bathroom features were not screwed all the way in the wall. The pool wasn’t cleaned very good had a ton of leaves and bugs in it but the pool was relaxing and the hot tub didn’t work at all. The house was extremely hot as well, and the thermostat was already set on schedule where we couldn’t cool the house anymore. Also I’m the living room there were not much blankets or areas to sit when you have more than 4-5 people. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth the price I paid.
The house itself was beautiful and very spacious and definitely updated in the appliances. The pool was very big and had equal shallow and deep ends, which we really enjoyed it with our kids. The patio area had plenty of seating and areas to lay out, which was a huge plus. And I do like that there was a gas fire pit so that we could roast marshmallows on. And the living room was very cozy with the velvety couch. We enjoyed watching movies together. The dining room was spacious enough for everyone to eat and the huge garage was also great. But I do think that the beds were not comfortable and should be renovated. The TV in the master bedroom was not even working and we were not notified. No Wi-Fi no service we tried everything and that was frustrating because we enjoy watching TV and movies in bed at night. Someone try to troubleshoot it, but we’re unsuccessful. The day before we left, David, who was very nice did offer partial refund because of all of the complaints. This was nice however I would have rather had all of these things corrected from the day we arrive so that we could completely enjoy our vacation The bedding on the beds was outdated very rough and uncomfortable. if you’re looking for a staycation and plan on working during it, this would be a good house because there were rooms set up like offices for working.
This was a great house for our group of friends. There was so much space and the set up was really nice, open dining to living room area also tall window doors to the outside pool area. The outside had a lot of covered space. It was very clean and also very close to our boat rental.
