great location and security
Centrally located with everything we needed!
The home was very conveniently located on the East side of downtown, right off 6th street next to multiple restaurants, bars and other attractions. It was easy to get to and close to the highway. It was clean and very nice, looked just like the pictures. A lot of people have commented about the homeless population around the property, this is definitely a thing, but my wife and I walked all around the area and they left us alone and we never felt unsafe. One thing I will say is if you have a large truck/SUV, you may find the garage a bit small. Overall, it was worth the money and would stay there again
This was a convenient rental for my short stay and had everything I needed. I liked being close enough to walk to the places I wanted to check out on the east side. The garage is a nice perk.
I don't know where to begin. I wish I had known that this property was right beside a homeless encampment. When we first arrived, there were several "unhoused" people close to the property that made checking in after dark feel unsafe and weird. Furthermore, there were no clear instructions on which entrance to use when accessing the property. We accidentally went inside the front enterance because there were no instructions explaining otherwise, or how to access the back ally to actually enter the property. After we got inside the garage, we came back outside to find that there was a pile of burning garbage next to an electrical box near the property that had ignited in the time it took for us to walk upstairs to unload our bags. We proceeded to call 911 and watched as fire trucks came to put out the fire close to the homeless encampment. The pro to having so many unhoused people close by was that we were woken up by beautiful melodies of one of the unhoused people singing outside our window. From a cleanliness perspective, We found hair that was not ours in the shower, and the blanket on the bed + couch smelled like body odor. We had to rewash several of the dishes before using them, because there was food on them from other guests.
Great location and proximity to downtown places. Very well managed property.
