Located on the top floor of Island Sands, the tallest complex in Maalaea, this condo will offer you incredible views of the ocean, Molokini, Kaho'olawe, and whales when they are visiting. You'll love coming home and watching sunsets from here as the AC units keep you cool, the WiFi keeps you in touch with the world, and the pool keeps you refreshed. What's nearby: You are within walking distance of Maalaea Harbor and shops. In the harbor, try heading out on a whale-watching cruise with Pacific Whale Foundation, a snorkeling adventure with Trilogy, or a sunset cruise on the Ali'i Nui. If the kids are with you, spend a day at the Maui Ocean center which has Honu, a new humpback whale experience, and lots of interactive exhibits. Take advantage of the restaurants there such as Seascape or Beach Bum's. When you venture out, head south about 7 miles into Kihei town for local beaches such as Charley Young, amazing fish tacos at Coconut's, and the shopping at the Shops of Wailea. Just south, you'll find a four-mile stretch of beach which is a great spot for paddle boarding, walking, and watching for whales. We saw whales from the balcony. The view is spectacular.

We had a short but terrific stay! The unit was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed, even better than the photos. The host was very communicative and responsive. Very close to the ferry to Lanai and restaurants. The lanai is very small but great for breakfast with beautiful views. The biggest surprise and best part was watching the whales in the morning during breakfast! If you are there in January/February bring binoculars and enjoy! Highly recommend.

The members of Team Vasasa were very supportive , friendly,and responsive. They took excellent care of us and were very attentive to all details. I would highly recommend Vasasa and this condo. The view was gorgeous. Everything was updated, clean, and neat, and the place was perfect for a family of four. Maui is Paradise on Earth, and staying at this condo was perfect because we had access to a swimming pool, barbecue grill, washing machine, and drying machine. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We all had a great good night sleep there every night. The apartment was very close to a peaceful beach, and we enjoyed relaxing there every afternoon after exploring Maui during the day. This has been a wonderful vacation, and the condo helped us feel at home in Maui. We enjoyed staying at this place and the location was excellent.

The view. Unit is tired and old. Screen windows and sliding door screen all have holes in them. Furniture is dated and uncomfortable. Ceiling fans are rusted as air conditioner. Kitchen lacks equipment to cook with get some new ice cube trays for freezer my god. Would not stay at this unit again shame as it is well layed out and view is amazing. One last thing the cable tv is basic and tv is broken. It’s a zenith they went out of business in 1999. And no cable or tvs in bedrooms!
