We enjoyed our stay at this property! Despite the fact that the building is dated, the property itself is well maintained. It is rather small, but the layout made it functional and comfortable for our family of four. The sofa bed was surprisingly large and comfortable to sleep on, the kitchen and living areas are bright and well equipped, and it was great to sit outside on the covered terrasse. There is no view of the sea per se, but we loved the proximity to the beach. This unit is far from the street and right in front of the walking path that takes to the beach through the fields. We took many beach walks especially towards Lae Nani beach. we enjoyed the hula show at coconut market, a short walk away. Conveniently located near a Safeway store and at convenient distance to the north of the island, which has better beaches than the east side. Finally, the trade winds provided good air movement at night. be prepared to hear loud roosters at around 6AM, especially if you leave the windows open. I would close the window once I heard the rooster, or wear ear plugs. Some days we were not bothered at all, so it wasn't a problem.

The location of the coconut marketplace was great! Very close! The cleanliness was very good. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Plantation Suites. The place was clean, much cleaner than most places we have stayed in Hawaii and we’ve been to several in recent years. It worked even for our family with three small kids. The kitchen was well stocked and actually usable to cook and the knives worked—been an issue for us in the past but not here. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice in that someone could be getting ready while another was showering or using the bathroom. The location was awesome! 2 minute walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. Easy to get to north shore or south shore. We also loved its proximity to Lydgate with our small kids. The pool at the complex was well maintained and we used it daily. The only thing that we would note is that it shares the wall with the laundry room so you can hear people going in and out and slamming the door to it all day long and there is a light to light the path so if someone is sleeping on the couch it doesn’t get very dark in the living area. Just something to note. Overall, highly recommend!

Very clean. Well equiped. Great location for exploring island. Walk to restaurants.
