I’d recommend booking a different room or resort until construction is over in October. The AC wasn’t working upon arrival and throughout the first night until we contacted the front desk to come fix (it was not the sliding door being open, we went the whole day and night with is closed tightly and locked). The front door wasn’t locking so we had to get our keys reset, which didn’t work, so they sent someone up quickly to fix that twice. We could get into the parking but couldn’t leave (had to use the help button each time we wanted to leave, didn’t take long though). Be mindful that the resort charges I think $25 a day for parking. The bathroom has mold in the caulk sealing the tub as well as the picture in there. I know that’s common there due to humidity, just something that can be remedied before the next booking. The resort is under construction until October (we were told) but oddly enough this was the only room with occupants on the hallway that is under construction. We had massive, super loud industrial fans blowing the entire time we were there directly placed outside our door and paper taped down in front of the door for construction with workers working outside the door each morning. Out of the resorts control as they’re trying to improve the place but please take the booking offline if possible while they’re working in that hallway at least or update the listing price and description to reflect these things. Some of the elevators were out of service to the point where none were available at times and had to use the stairs, so I wouldn’t recommend this place to people with physical impairments at this time. We’ve stayed at this resort before (in a different room) and it was great. During construction one of the restaurants is closed and so is the main bar. The cooler temp hottub was also closed and a part of the pool was taped off so you’d have to walk all the way around the other side the get to and from spots. The staff at the resort are very helpful and cannot control the construction, so please be kind. We understand that the construction is to improve the facilities but some heads up would have been nice on this listing for the things we had to experience. We would stay here again after construction but definitely not in this particular room, unfortunately.
