What's nearby: Walk up to the Maalaea Harbor and shops where you can charter a whale watching or snorkeling boat, spend the day at the Maui Ocean Center (including their new Humpback Whale experience), or get a happy hour drink at SeaScape or Beach Bum's. Just a couple miles south, find a long stretch of beach and calm waters - ideal for trying your hand at stand up paddleboarding. Take a day trip up the oceanfront 'Pali' highway to Lahaina where you can shop, dine, and stroll along Front Street. On the way, stop at the lookout just a few miles up the highway from your condo and either watch for whales or catch the spectacular sunset. Just south, you'll find a four-mile stretch of beach which is a great spot for paddle boarding, walking, and watching for whales.
