Watch gorgeous sunrises and keep an eye out for the Nai'a, honu, and koloha (dolphins, turtles, and whales) as they cruise by. Spend time out exploring the area or curl up with a good book while listening to the soothing sound of the surf. This ground-floor studio offers easy lawn and beach access. This retreat is part of a small, oceanfront complex located on the east shore of Kauai known for its vintage Hawaiian charm. Built on the grounds of a former Shinto Temple, there are only 24 units in the entire complex. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday. All of the retreats in this complex have well-provisioned kitchens to help keep meal costs down while vacationing. Laundry facilities are located on the property for your convenience. Dining, shopping, and a weekly farmer’s market a block away. Enjoy swimming at Lydgate Beach Park – Morgan Ponds (two man-made ocean ponds), kayaking on the Wailua River, or hiking the Sleeping Giant.
