We'll be back when we save up again!

We loved the ocean view, lovely flowers and sweet scent floating thru our condo on the night air. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. FYI the burners on the stove don’t heat up consistently but everything else was fine.

This place worked out well for my family of 4. The location is fantastic, and the place was completely spotless. The property is dated, although the bathrooms have been nicely remodeled. Beds were decent. No AC, which made for a warm few nights of sleep, but the fans helped to cool it down and circulate the air…just don’t expect to need any sort of comforter. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the WiFi was great. The private beach was a perk and worth the steep walk to/from…honestly wish we had more time to explore more of it. Overall, I would stay here again…mostly because the location is so fantastic, and the place was super clean.

This condo was perfect for us (2 adults & 2 teenagers)! Spacious and clean, it had EVERYTHING we needed for our week long stay (except food, of course) … including beach gear and beach towels which came in so useful. We definitely enjoyed the ability to walk out of the back sliding door onto the open grassy area that overlooks the ocean to watch the sunset or just ocean-watch. Vacasa Support needs a shout out too because when we first arrived to the condo, which was around 9pm, we couldn’t get in because the door knob had been locked from the inside and a physical key was needed to unlock it (we only had the code for the keypad). With it being so late, I was worried we wouldn’t get someone on the phone but I when called support, someone answered right away. The rep was apologetic and helped us get the key box open so we could enter the unit! I had to contact them again a day later when one of the bathroom sinks got clogged. They had someone there the same day to drain it. I read previous reviews about Vacasa that weren’t so pretty, so when we hit our first hiccup, I had a bit of anxiety but it was quickly squashed! We couldn’t be more happy with the unit and support! It came out to be everything I expected it to. We loved the peace and quiet of the area, the ability to take nice, long morning walks around the golf course and to Hidden Beach as well the cleanliness of entire complex itself. We will definitely choose this place to stay again when we come back! Mahalo! :)

I stayed in another Pali Ke Kua unit right before this one, which was wonderful and absolutely spotless, so I was expecting a similar experience when I checked into this unit. Unfortunately, I felt so uncomfortable here that I couldn’t wait to leave. I walked in the first day to find 3 dead roaches on the floor in different rooms, a parade of tiny ants on the counter, kitchen smelled like bacon, bedroom floor hadn't been swept, couch was covered in sand, spider web across one dining chair, lanai table hadn’t been cleaned. Found hairs and a stain on the bed, plus more hairs under the covers. I spent hours washing & drying the bedding before actually going to sleep that night. There was a broken window next to the front door when I checked in and the screen was bent out of shape. I had not contacted management about it, but the next day I came back to find someone had attempted to straighten the screen and fix the window with tape, which made me incredibly uncomfortable because I was never told that someone would be entering the unit or working on anything. The day after that, I was in the unit when a man came by and started tearing tape off the window. Of course it startled me. Repairs should be done before guests arrive or management should at least be alerting guests about them. I also killed roaches in this place every single day and just could not get comfortable. If it was maintained & cleaned properly and had better mattress/pillows, it could be nice. The surrounding property is beautiful and quiet, just wouldn't recommend this unit in its current state.
