Overlooking Hanalei Bay, with views of Mount Makana (Bali Hai), and steps from a white-sand beach located below the resort are just some of things that you will enjoy while staying at Hanalei Bay Resort. This is a tropical property that reflects all that is Kauai! Originally built as a Tennis Resort, it still features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island. You will enjoy access to eight tennis courts, a Tennis Pro Shop, front desk, bell and shuttle service, and the Activity Hut where beach gear can be rented easily. The resort also features a lagoon style saltwater pool designed for family fun, as well as a quieter, smaller pool for those looking for something a little more relaxing! Resort guests may use the shared outdoor pool and hot tub, along with beach access. Paid parking is listed among the resort amenities. This unit has air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, an in-unit washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and outdoor seating. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.

The neighborhood: Princeville sits above Hanalei Bay on Kauai’s green North Shore, where mountain ridges, waterfalls, and the Pacific set the pace. Pick up groceries or coffee at Princeville Center, snorkel at Anini Beach, then drive down to Hanalei for beach time, local shops, and dinner. It is an easy base for a Na Pali Coast outing or a slower day watching the light change on Bali Hai. This is Kauai for families and couples who want scenery without a rushed itinerary.

Getting around: Lihue Airport (LIH) is about 40 minutes from Princeville along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended because North Shore beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville has walkable access to some shops and dining, while Hanalei Bay is a short drive away. Parking is typically available in property lots or driveways.

Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping. • Hanalei Bay Resort currently charges a flat fee of $50, a reservation fee of $6.75 per every non-owner reservation, a $25 per day resort fee and a $20 per day, per vehicle, parking fee. These fees are subject to taxes. This is paid directly to the resort at the time of check-in and not included in the rental rate or fees.
