Islander on the Beach 170 and Islander on the Beach 171 can be connected by an interior door. THINGS TO KNOW • This vacation rental is not equipped with a washer/dryer. Super easy to get to from Lihue- about 10-15 min away. The place was super clean and the beach was about 100 yards away. Bottom floor so easy access. Able to see the ocean from the Lanai though not full view. The gardens are beautiful and obviously well maintained. I highly recommend this place and will certainly return in the future. Aloha!🙏

The condo was just perfect! Ground floor you could just walk out back and go to the pool or beach. Very convenient location! We love this condo, we will be back.

Pros: The grounds of the resort are very well kept. In between all of the various buildings are beautiful trees and flowers. You see a crew out grooming the grounds every day. The pool area and hot tub are nice. There are a couple grills there that we did not use. Cons: At times you cannot find a parking spot in the lot. You get a parking pass, but there just are not enough spots for everybody at times. There is a restauraunt and other shops that share the parking area. I had to drive around for 10 minutes for a spot to open up one time. The parking spots are also very narrow, so if one person parks a little over the line or just on the line, you will not be able to park next to them. Our room was a little updated from original. The bathroom had a modern look as far as the sink goes, but still had a bath tub. The kitchenette is less useful than we would have wanted. There are two mini fridges, but no stove. They could have one fridge and put a stove in. The microwave did not work. The kitchen sink is tiny. The sliding glass door latches stopped working at some point in the past and instead of fixing them properly they just rigged it so you drop a u-bolt through a couple holes. Our unit did not have a beach view that I thought it was going to have. You can easily walk to the beach though.
