The apartment was everythig my family of 4 needed. We will be back!

The pro was the location, minutes from a great beach park. Tv and couch, quite comfortable. There was a very bad smell that persisted throughout the stay. Unclear if it came from the kitchen sink or somewhere else. Also, the bathroom is really stinky. There is a frebreeze deodorizer but it makes the bathroom smell more like chemicals than actually pleasant. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom were low quality too. Collapsed when sleeping on them. Sadly, wouldn’t recommend this property unless they renovate it and find the root cause of the foul odor instead of masking it with air freshener.

This was the first time I have ever been to Kuaia and I am so thankful I got the opertunity to go with my mom and sister. There were alot of hidden fees when I booked this rental threw Expedia. I actually ended up paying more around 400 a night which was certainly a rip off. It is a dingy space. The bed rooms and bathroom are old and the bathroom does not smell good. There are tons of nats flying around. I killed at least 20 of them in one night. The living room and kitchen are comfortable and there is wifi but no roku. The laundry is in a community area and you need at least 3 dollars in quarters to get a load done. COME WITH YOUR OWN QUARTERS! The location is unbeatable. Right off of Brenneck's Beach. We saw turtles, see lions, and lots of beautiful fish. There are lots of nice places to eat close by along with play grounds and picnic tables for longer days at the beach. Thank you for being a part of a once in a life time experience!

The beach location!

The best thing about this property is its location for sure - you’re so close to Poipu beach and Puka Dog (must try). The property itself needs help. It has a HORRIBLE sewage smell from the bathroom. Another review mentions this and the property manager responded that they found nothing wrong but something is seriously wrong with their plumbing. We accidentally left the bathroom door open when we left and when we came back, the stench throughout the apartment was overwhelming. The bathroom also has mold around the shower and is generally dirty. The twin beds sink in in the middle and the main bed is hard as a rock. The ACs were loud but they worked pretty well and kept the unit pretty cold (in highs of low 80s). The parking spot is so small so be careful when renting a car. It was really hard to park the SUV we had rented. The little gifts they left were cute and appreciated. We just couldn’t get past the smell. We only stayed 3 nights and were rarely home so we dealt with it. Be careful when booking here.
