Private villa with not a lot of through traffic. Great location, located close to everything. Truly beautiful!
We booked a year in advance and had previously stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort. We were excited to book the Villas since the pictures showed access to the resort pools. 3 days prior to our trip we were notified that the Villa pool and spa was closed and that access to the resort pools was no longer available. We reached out to Vacasa, the villa management and resort and received no refund, compensation or adequate explanation why we were not notified sooner. No attempt was made to assist us with accessing alternative amenities and we had to constantly call and email otherwise no one reached out to us. Upon arrival we found a notice that the balcony was unaccessible due to it falling apart. Multiple villa buildings were either closed or had similar issues and the entire complex was in a construction zone. We even noticed that the unit online through Vacasa still had the pictures of the resort pools and they were only taken down when we acknowledge this was false advertising. Vacasa still allowed a picture of the resort and villa that included all the pools which seemed to be a compromise for the owner. The unit and the complex is dated, built in 1980 and does not seem to be updated at all. It needed a deep clean in the bathrooms, kitchen and even flooring needed to be fixed. The a/c units did help keep the room adequate but were very loud and struggled to keep the main living area at a reasonable temperature during the hottest part of the day. Overall, the location was nice because it provided easy access to go north or south on the island. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils and cookware. The beds were adequate, including the pull out couch. Overall, I would contact to ensure pool and spa are available and if there is any update to accessibility to the resort pools and spas. If not, I would not recommend as the amenities we experienced were extremely lacking.

Enjoying our time with our family.
This place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need including beach equipment. I would give it 5 stars if they had an AC in the living room. It was so hot couldn’t even enjoy cooking for my family and having a fun night in without dripping sweat. I’m surprised my kids were able to sleep we had to leave the patio door open and 2 fans pointing at them all night. It was not comfortable at all. The resort was very nice would come back just not to this condo E5.
