This unit is a great location in Kihei. We did not have any bug problems like some previous reviews stated. My only complaints were that the water filter in the fridge was red so we did not use it and the curtains are very difficult to maneuver. One of the curtain panels was left on the ground on behind the TV stand in the living room so we weren’t able to fully close the curtains in the living room. There was a lot of noise from the street as well so just keep that in mind when booking if that would be a problem. We were there at the end of the storms so did not use the beach gear to be able to speak on the quality.

Great location, especially with the food trucks within walking distance. Everything you need is walking distance. Amazing view of the ocean and sunset. Also can watch volleyball and beginner surfing. For those who don’t know, you’re above South Kihei Rd so there is traffic noise. But it’s a great location!

The views are the redeeming quality of this unit. It is not a penthouse but it is on the 6th floor of a six story building. It’s right on the Main Street so can be loud especially at night. We were woken up twice in 7 days by domestic disturbances in the middle of the night. Whole place could use a deep clean (dirty knobs on all the cabinets, hair in the bathroom, toilet area not sanitary)-vacasa offered to have the cleaners come in the following day, but because we had to use the bathroom, I cleaned it myself. Unit appears to be a two bedroom converted to two units. There is a cipher lock in the front hall and in the bathroom(!) I turned the knob in the hall because I thought it was storage and the renter from the B unit came pounding on the door asking why we were trying to access his unit. Yikes! Pros- good location, parking, bed is comfortable, lots of dishes and nice appliances/tvs and WiFi. Also has beach umbrella, chairs and coolers.
