Kapa'a Sands 14 is widely praised as a great value and an ideal stay for couples, offering a comfortable, well-appointed space with a cozy bed, a fully stocked kitchen, and thoughtful touches that helped guests feel at home. The property sits on a quiet acre with the beach at your feet. The sounds of the waves and the whispers of the trade winds to let you know you have made it to paradise. Watch the turtles come up to the reef or the fish in the tide pools! Conveniently situated on the oceanfront, your ground-floor studio condo provides a full kitchen with everything you need to whip up home-cooked meals. Admire breathtaking ocean views from your scenic lanai. Extras include beach towels, a TV with cable, and free WiFi. The grounds also feature a poolside grill and coin-operated laundry. Find shopping and dining within walking distance, including a coffee shop just across the street. The beds are able to be set up as a single king-size bed or 2 twins. We will have it set as a King, but if you would like it configured as 2 twins instead, please reach out to our guest team prior to checking in and we are happy to accommodate. This oceanfront condo has everything - charm, cleanliness, full kitchen, easy parking, walkable to groceries, coffee, beachfront bar/restaurants, bike rental. Kapaa is centrally located on the island, with easy access to destinations north and south. Best of all, lanai offers comfortable lounge chairs with pristine ocean view - get up early for sunrise!

Overall, this studio has a lot of potential, but it didn’t fully live up to expectations. The location is a solid 4/5 — very convenient and easy to get around, and the view is honestly a million-dollar highlight. Waking up to that scenery was definitely the best part of the stay. However, the studio itself feels quite outdated and not very well maintained. Almost all the metal items inside are rusted — even the fridge, which was surprising. The stove seems to be new, which is a plus, but many other things need attention. The windows don’t fully close, which became a real issue during the Kona storm, letting in wind and noise. Curtains were also rusty and looked dirty. Outside furniture (tables and chairs) was rusty as well, and even small details like clothes pins were old and corroded — I ended up buying new ones, so if you find them, you’re welcome 😉 The kitchen could use improvement too — knives were rusty and not sharp at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower setup is another downside — the shower head isn’t very practical, and it’s nearly impossible to wash your feet comfortably. In summary, amazing view and good location, but the condition and maintenance of the studio need significant improvement.

The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to several restaurants and shopping - It was also a great location to get just about anywhere on the island. Even though the bed was two reins put together to make a king, it was very comfortable. Combined the comfort of the bed and the sound of the ocean, I slept the best I had in years. There were several items like beach chairs and a small cooler that made it a breeze to enjoy time at the beach that we had easy access ro.

The view and overall atmosphere of the property is great. However there are some improvements needed. Only 1 bbq worked so most times we didn't bother bbqing. The beach access( though not your responsibility) needs some TLC.
