The home had everything our group needed

Location was great to travel where ever wanted to go. Condo was roomy, clean, and comfy.

It’s a nice quiet place with a good location to enjoy the north shore. A little dated and no AC.

For me, being able to walk to a store or to a restaurant is always a huge plus and this location is in easy walking distance of Princeville Center. As a family with 6 adults and two cars I was concerned about the one parking space issue and the pre-arrival messages about where not to park and warnings about being towed. It was recommended that we park our second car at Princeville Center. However, when we arrived there were actually two parking passes waiting for us (a mistake? Maybe). Fortunately we had no issues parking the two cars at the residential location, but based on my observations and experience, I would have been totally comfortable parking our second car at Princeville Center.

This was a great home base for us with a large extended family group including kids and grandparents. It was overall a good experience although it did have a few tough moments. It’s hard to find the unit if you arrive after dark and we wandered around the property for about 10 minutes before we found it. There was supposed to be a parking permit left in the unit for us but there was no permit present. Luckily Vacasa customer service was responsive and helped us with our problem within 24 hours. The only other thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning and I hadn’t thought that would be an issue since it was February when we stayed, but it definitely is hotter in the house than I thought and definitely more cool outside at night than in the house. we found it a bit hard to sleep in the heat, and we were thankful for the fans provided. Now onto the positive- lots of beach gear wax provided including life jackets for kids, floaties for the pool, folding chairs which were essential for grandparents at the beach and more. Literally everything we needed for nearby Anini beach (which I highly recommend!) We appreciated the large deck outside and watching the roosters and birds outside in the garden. My kids liked seeing the little geckos outside as well.

I thought I would likely drive to Lihue or Poipo during my stay, but for six days everything we needed was within 15 minutes of the condo. We went to restaurants (westin and Hanalei), hiking, kayaking and a couple different beaches. It was perfect. Not crowded. Beautiful. Everything was convenient.
