Loved the View

Location, views, pool, hidden beach, and terrace are wonderful. Only improvement Would be new/better quality mattress in master bedroom. We will return.

This is the 2nd time we've visited Princeville and stayed at this condo complex. This unit had some amazing views as you can see both Hanalai Bay / mountains and the oceans. It is also conveniently located near a Foodland and not too far from Hanalai Bay itself. It is also walking distance down to Hideaway Beach if you're up for the hike down and back (I wouldn't bring a bunch of stuff since it's very shady there and the path does get slippery & muddy especially after it rains). As others stated, the unit is a little dated but it's not like we are spending our entire day at the condo. And it's not our home, so who cares. There is only 1 AC unit in the living room but with the trade winds and the windows, it created enough airflow throughout the unit. The only knock is actually with Vacasa, who we rented through. The smoke detector in the master bedroom started going off (it's a single use with no way to change the battery). It took them 2 days before they could send someone to replace it (warranted, this started Sunday afternoon prior to Memorial Day). All in all, loved our stay, would definitely come back again!

We have stayed in this unit numerous times and made sure to book it for next year before departing. The view is amazing, the furnishings are comfie (bed, chairs, couch). We have visited Princeville probably 15 times and this is the BEST unit around. The A/C works terrifically too which is not the case in so many Hawaii condos. Love this unit!!!

We love our stay here!! It is a magnificent place with an unmatched view. My only complaint was the check in time was 4pm and check out time was 10am both of which were very inconvenient for our travel plans. Also for some reason there is no cell service in the condo we had to walk out side the building to make calls.

The corner unit alone is worth it. Floor-to-ceiling views sweep 180° across the ocean from the living room, dining room, and kitchen, and even the master bedroom looks out toward Hanalei. We watched surfers from the lanai each evening, caught whales breaching at breakfast, and never once tired of the sunsets. The space itself is generous, light-filled, and well-appointed — everything you’d actually need, nothing you don’t. WiFi is essential since cell service is spotty, but it’s strong and reliable. Location is the other star. Hidden Beach sits just below the property — literally a stone’s throw. The 1 Hotel is a short walk. The surrounding private golf community is serene, ideal for morning strolls, and a nearby shopping center covers the basics: grocery store, shave ice, a solid Mexican spot, and a Thai place we didn’t get to but plan to next time. Hanalei is ten minutes down the road, making this the quiet, central base that’s hard to find on the North Shore. We’ll be back. If you want peaceful, beautiful, and well-positioned — this is it.
