This rental was great for 1 person for a week on Kauai. It’s nothing fancy but it has everything you need for 1 person. Like said in the other reviews the parking can be a problem. But if you park in the lot on the other side Google Maps brings you it’s not a problem and has a lot more visitor parking. I would definitely stay at this rental again when back on Kauai.
I don't think ill be staying here again or using Vacasa ever again. This was my first and last time using Vacasa. The biggest issue was the parking. There were ZERO parking instructions provided. I arrived at night to see no open public stalls, only reserved stalls were open. When I called Vacasa they were 100% useless. They said to park in any open public stall, and I explained to them over 30 times that there is no open public stalls left they were all taken. They said they would call me back. I waited one hour and no phone call back. I called again and the second guy was even worse, he put me on hold and hung up on me and has ZERO listening skills. I had to repeat myself over and over again. I called a third time and again no solution. Vacasa said someone from the "local team" would call me back. My stay ended and nobody ever called me back not even once. Horrible service. The room also had spiders in it and it was not that clean. Very disappointed because I spent over two hours trying to figure out the parking situation and I ended up parking in the grass. I also tried to look for a parking stall with the same number as my unit and someone else was already parked in that stall. Never using Vacasa again because the staff are as useful as screen doors on a submarine, they can't listen at all, and they are liars because they never called me back.
One thing that was unpleasant during this stay was the loud AC noise that prevented us to sleep. Luckily, the ceiling fan helped to keep the room a bit cool during the night. The room was clean! But much smaller than expected. Overall it was okay. What makes it mainly a 3 star was the issue with parking. There were mostly all reserved parking for other units. We had to rush to come back to the room because there was no parking available by 6:30pm latest, you were lucky to find one after that.
Place was clean, comfortable and quiet. Located in Princeville just 10 minutes from Hanalei Bay. We had a great experience and would return in a heartbeat. Mahalo Nuí Loa!
The location is great and the idea of the appartment per se nice. However, upon arrival we found the appartment not very well cleaned and the some of the interior broken. After reporting this to Vacasa, the broken mixer got changed out and they supplied a complimentary kettle which was nice. Nevertheless, nothing happened about the dirty floor, the microwave and fridge were still very visibly rusty and the ice compartment in the fridge was still broken. For how expensive this accomodation is, we would have expected better quality interior / service.
Close to town in the beach. Very clean and reasonable.
