Newly renovated and beautifully customized from top to bottom, this elegant, two-bedroom condo is full of modern luxury and the spirit of Old Hawaii - all in the very heart of Waikoloa Beach Resort. This stunning resort sits less than a mile from 'Anaeho'omalu Beach (A-Beach), with lush, landscaped grounds that include koi ponds, waterfalls, a tiled pool and hot tub, two refinished tennis courts, a fitness center, and several gas grills. When you head out to the beach, there are two umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels to bring with you. This second-floor condo was taken down to the studs for a complete remodel in 2021. Today, its 2,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space include new tile and fixtures, elevator access, new mahogany trim, custom coconut-husk paneling in the living room and kitchen, custom wave paneling in the bedrooms, and new furnishings by Tommy Bahama Home throughout. The kitchen boasts all-new appliances, a deep copper sink, and both carafe and Keurig coffee makers. There's a breakfast bar for four, a circular dining table for six, and an expansive lanai where you can enjoy breakfast and the soft sounds of the running stream below. Additional amenities include a primary bedroom suite with a spa-like private bathroom, a guest room with direct access to the lanai, flatscreen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, a new stacked washer/dryer, and central air conditioning throughout. Our family had the most amazing stay at the Waikoloa Shores Bungalow in July! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—close to restaurants, shops, and all the best beaches around Kona. One of our favorites was Manini‘owali Beach—absolutely stunning and just a short drive away. We also loved spending time at Mauna Kea Beach—quiet, beautiful, and complete with a fantastic beach restaurant and bar. The home truly felt like a home away from home, with every little thing we could have needed during our stay. It was stocked with everything—snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, and more—making beach days simple and stress-free. The owner was wonderful—so helpful with trip ideas and restaurant recommendations, and always quick to respond if we had questions. Their care and thoughtfulness really made our trip that much smoother and more enjoyable. And of course, the bungalow’s balcony was such a treat—the perfect spot for morning coffee, catching the wonderful breeze, or winding down at the end of the day. Our family made so many special memories here, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a true Kona experience!

We had a change in dates for our vacation to the Big Island and our original hotel room wasn't available for the new week. This condo was a backup option, not our first choice, but boy were we wrong! If I had to choose today, this would ALWAYS be my first choice when staying in the area from now on. The home was spacious, so clean, with all the amenities (and more) that we needed for a perfect week-long getaway. You know what's nice?! Doing laundry BEFORE you pack bags to fly home. Check. The kitchen had all we needed to make our own meals when we were wiped from days in the sun and didn't want to go out. Views from the balcony are gorgeous and the pool is right downstairs. Couldn't recommend this property more- grateful our backup plan became our favorite place to stay on any vacation so far.
