Inside, the open-concept living area provides plenty of room for comfortable lounging while keeping conversations going with the group chef as they prepare something in the full kitchen. The Keurig there will handle all your coffee needs and the shared gas grill is great if you'd rather sear your meals for a change of pace. Though it may be tempting to watch TV inside, the furnished lanai lets you feel the warm air while you stare into the sparkling ocean waters. We love this property and always stay here, though in different units with different owners/management. Other than a water heater which can only be adjusted from the master suite and which is slow to warm and then scalding hot (yes, we know the temp can be changed from the master, but there's only one temperature for both showers), this is a very great condo with more privacy for the guests in the living room than most units. The kitchen is tiny, but there was a brita filter which we greatly appreciated.

Waking up to the sound of the ocean just steps from the door was unforgettable. Sunrise and sunset felt like private performances framed by the horizon, and the steady lull of the waves easily drowned out any street noise. The views alone made the stay feel peaceful, restorative, and beautifully connected to the water.

The condo was very comfortable and very well stocked with everything we needed plus more! Our favorite room was the lanai which we used every morning to enjoy coffee and breakfast. We could look over the balcony and watch the Yellow Tang swim up to the shore. The condo is conveniently located within walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, and activities. We loved our time at Kona Ali’i

Kona Ali'i 502 was the perfect spot for us (a mom, a dad, and a teenager) in Kailua. We had an ocean view from our lanai, an easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen (and sharp knives!) so we saved money eating some of our meals in. We felt like it was our own apartment with a closet full of snorkel and beach gear, a covered parking spot, and a washer/dryer to start clean after daily excursions. No air conditioning, but it wasn't too warm in April.

Very nice unit, awesome view. Stocked with everything we needed, except maybe a regular coffee pot, the one they have is a little complicated to use just for a regular pot of coffee.
