The neighborhood: Ninole is part of the Big Island's Hamakua Coast, a green, rural stretch of sea cliffs, waterfalls, pasture, and big Pacific views. Imagine waking up every morning to a beautiful green yard staring at palm trees and the ocean. The home does not have AC but it was not needed with the ocean breeze. The home was perfect for our family of 5 and the only issue we had during our stay was an issue with the water pump not working but it was fixed the next day. We loved how secluded the house was but if we needed anything we were only 20 mins from Hilo. We would love to stay at this property again if we return to the big island!!!!
Just back from our family trip to the Big Island! đş We stayed in a VRBO in Ninole and the location was perfect. The breeze, peaceful setting, and sunrise coffees on the deck made it really special. The place has great potential, but a few cleanliness issues kept it from being a 5-star stay. With some updates it would be fantastic. The views and area are hard to beat!
the view was beautiful, nice place to take walks and explore the area above the house, loved the dogs and the sheep, place is lovely and idyllic. It would be nice to have a jacuzzi or above ground pool for swimming but apart from that suggestion, it was a beautiful, tranquil spot
The house is very clean and well stocked. Our 2 stay here and we still love it.
We had booked two nights. Upon arrival, no water so no toilets, no showers or cleaning dishes. Kept hoping the repair guy could fix it but has to bail out in the morning.
Beautiful and lovely home. Feels like a fantastic space to chill out and relax.
