The place is alright. The furniture is kinda out dated and no ac . What I did like is that it was right next to the ocean. We left the slides open to the balcony and spent most time out there since it’s cooler . They had a dining table and lawn chairs out on the balcony to eat an relax. The bathrooms were decent the beds comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It would’ve been perfect if it had ac cause Kona was hot.

Pros- location, beautiful ocean views, outside grills are new and clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Cons- furniture needs a good cleaning, lanai furniture was stained and dirty. Building stairs were filthy. Furniture was outdated. Overall I would not stay here again.

Kona Bali Kai has become our new favorite place to stay in Kona, and this apartment specifically. The balcony is right on the ocean front, sound of the waves is very peaceful as you relax on the balcony, turtles and eels in the rocks below and we have seen whales and dolphins from here. It has everything we need when we stay, including washer/drier so we can pack light. It's 2 miles to Kona town, which is a pleasant walk if you're up to it and don't want to pay for parking there. Uber is also an option.
