There you can also find Atlantis Adventures, which will give you all thrill-seeking adventurers the unique chance to experience the out-of-this-world underwater wonderland of Hawaii onboard a safe submarine. Heading in the other direction will deliver you to popular beach destinations like Lyman's (a great surfing spot), Magic Sands Beach, and Pahoehoe Beach Park. Kona is also famous for their coffee, so consider heading about 10 miles south to tour places like Sacred Grounds or the Kona Coffee Living History museum where tour guides teach you about Kona coffee in costume and in character. You could never get a better view for the money, however the unit itself needs upgraded, for the money paid the unit is dated, lots of yellow spots on the walls, tile missing, beat up woodwork, tape on the floor. I would absolutely book the Kona Bali Kai with Vasca again, but would not rent unit 318. Unit has spectacular balcony with ocean outside the door, and the amenities, such as washer & dryer, extra fans, and linens, but for amount paid per night, unit is a bit beat up.

The location of Kona Bali Kai is terrific and the view is unbeatable. We spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying watching the waves and surfers. We have stayed here many times and it isn't the most updated complex but we typcially don't mind. This unit needs some attention to the 2nd bathroom. Unfortunately we were unable to use the 2nd shower during our stay. There was also a minor issue with a sconce light switch shocking me when I turned it off so I would avoid using that switch. Both issues have been reported to Vacasa to be addressed. If those things are addressed I would definitely recommend.
