It is an easygoing base for families, couples, and friends who want beach days without a complicated plan. What's nearby: This condo in Waikoloa Resort has everything you could possibly want within a mile, which means you can walk or drive to most local activities. Take a walk among the petroglyphs near the front of Waikoloa Beach Drive. Stop by Queen's to catch a movie, pick up your daily Starbucks, or try the new open-air restaurant Kuleana Rum Shack or the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar (opening soon). Getting around: Kona International Airport (KOA) is about 25 to 30 minutes from Waikoloa Village. Parking is typically available at properties or in nearby lots without much difficulty.
