Overview
Take in Pacific views from your private lanai, then head to Lyman's surf spot less than a half mile away or spend the day at Magic Sands Beach Park, about a mile down the coast. This one-bedroom, two-bath oceanfront Kona Bali Kai condo sleeps four across two beds and gives a small family a front-row seat to the island's sunny west side. The full kitchen, private washer and dryer, ceiling fans, and WiFi make longer stays feel simple, while the shared pool and hot tub offer an easy break from the ocean. Da Poke Shack is less than a block away, and Ali'i Drive leads north toward Kona town's harbor, shops, and dinner spots. This is an easygoing base for a couple or family who want the water close, sandy towels managed, and plenty of room for a slow Kona morning.
Guests at Kona Bali Kai enjoy access to the shared pool and hot tub, plus an elevator and garage parking. The grounds feature gardens and beach front views, with ocean access and outdoor seating available for guests to enjoy between excursions.
The neighborhood: Kona Bali Kai sits along Ali'i Drive on Kailua-Kona's sunny coast, close to Banyans Beach and the surf breaks that give this stretch its local energy. Magic Sands Beach Park is about a mile away, with Pāhoehoe Beach Park roughly three-quarters of a mile in the other direction from the complex. Da Poke Shack is nearby for a casual local meal, and the road leads north toward Kona town's shops, harbor, and sunset walks. Kahalu'u Beach Park is farther south for snorkeling. It is an easy base for couples and families who want to make the beach part of every day, not a special outing.
Getting around: A rental car is the easiest way to explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Ali'i Drive connects this area with Kailua-Kona, beach parks, dining, and shops. Check your reservation details for parking information and plan on a car for flexible access to beaches and day trips.

The condo is very comfortable and has a great ocean view.
Love listening to the waves, watching the surfers very easy in/out and great location.
Lovely view and property! Awesome location! Staff were great!
It was all good. Parking was great. Beach was awesome waves crashing outside. Great white noise.
This was a beautiful location and was centrally located to get anywhere on the island
The view, the location, the complex, the unit, parking - were all good. Near the elevator. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching and listening to the waves crash into shore. If the surf is right, you may see surfers close by. They were getting into the water right in front of the complex. The sunsets from here are second to none. The view from the balcony is spectacular. In the distance we saw whales from the balcony. Inside the unit we had all the amenities we needed. There were only two of us and we each had our own bathroom. The kitchen had all the appliances, pots, pans, dishes, ... you would expect in a rental condo. The washer/dryer was a great convenience. The wi-fi was great and during the evening we would stream movies/shows, no lag in service. No AC but we didn't need it during our February stay. There are 3 ceiling fans to keep the air moving and two patio doors to let the fresh air in. The location is good for getting around the Island. While we had some long driving days we covered most of the island from here, including visits to Hilo, Volcanos Natl Park, the South Point, and the Waipio Valley area. Oh yea, you are just a couple miles outside of Kona where you'll find restaurants, activities, and shopping. There is a nearby Costco and Safeway too. There is a farmers market about a quarter mile away (Fri-Sun) and another outdoor market (gifts, food, ...) about a 1/2 mile away (both in the direction of Kona). The airport is about 30 minutes away. This was our 3rd stay at Kona Bali Kai but the 1st for this unit. If we visit the Big Island again, we'll be checking into rentals here.
