Keauhou Punahele B101

I loved the open floor plan with two sliding glass doors which brought the outside in and the inside out. Which also made for excellent breezes throughout the day and nighttime, too. The gecko on the palm tree was energetic for a gecko, to say least. She added an interesting moment every day. I used the washer/dryer with joy and the kitchen had such a variety of equipment and accessories as to make even Julia Child smile. The bed was comfortable and clean. All in all it was great for our foursome of 16 year old senior citizens. I would do it again. Thank you Keauhou Punalele. See you next time.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Even though there was no AC, it wasn’t an issue at all — the fresh air coming through made the space feel cool and pleasant. The view from the living room was really nice and added to the overall experience. Having both a pool and a hot tub was a great bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a very nice place to stay, especially considering the price. Great value and a relaxing spot on the Big Island. Highly recommend!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful condo in a peaceful surroundings with sunset views. We loved everything about it. Can't wait to return in the future.

- Nice complex - No ocean view from the unit - There's a gas grill for BBQ. A big plus. - Convenient kitchen setting. - As many reviews say, there's no AC, but during my stay in late December, it wasn't too bad. One bedroom had a ceiling fan right above the bed, so it was okay, but the ceiling fan in the other bedroom (with two beds) was located between the beds, so it's almost useless. Instead, there are a few stand-up fans, so we used them, and it was okay. - A pool and a hot tub available, but we didn't use them.

The condo was great for the price and all the amenities it has. Lots is space for everyone and a really fun patio. I stayed there with my older mom and she liked that there was not many stairs to maneuver. Keep in mind there is on set that you use to go down to the property but there is also a side walk that you can take to go in off the patio. The condo was clean and the pool was nice. It is not too far away from beaches in Kona with a car. A few things I wish were different: all the beds were older a really hard. There was also no air conditioning (which we knew) but some of the fans in the rooms were older and squeaked when they were turned up high so it was impossible sleep through which then made the room really hot with no fan working. I would stay at this condo again for sure!

Had everything available what we needed and more. Snorkeling set and boards are available for some activities in the water. Also does it has a washing machine and dryer also not always given a dishwasher is also available. AC is not available, but was not necessary when we're there (November), we had always a good temperature in the bedroom for sleeping.
