Garden Cottage A & B - 30-Night Minimum

The two cottages provided comfortable spaces for our group of 5 adults. Nice to have 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen appliances worked well. Cottage had both Keurig and Mr. coffee coffeemakers, rice cooker, Nutribullet, blender, toaster oven, and lots of pots and pans. The cottages were comfortable and clean. No table to accommodate all of us at once, but we ate sitting on couches and chairs. Also, no TV in living rooms. There is a tiny TV in each primary bedroom, but limited channels and limited options for streaming, so we didn’t use them. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, except for dogs and roosters (bring white noise machine for sleeping, if that bothers you). Really enjoyed sitting on the shaded front porch and enjoying the warmth! 12 minute walk to beach, similar walk to edge of Waikiki shopping. A few items in the listing were a bit misleading, but not problems for us. The listing says there are tennis courts. There is a multi-sport court down the block with no nets (some pickleball players brought their own nets, but it was a closed group). But Diamondhead tennis/pickleball courts, open to public, are about a 20 minute walk away. The listing says 4 parking spots. Maybe, if the cars are subcompact. We only had one SUV, so we were fine, but if we had tried to back it up to allow more parking the car’s sides would have been scratched by the plants/trees. Also, found that if you park directly in front of the house you will get a ticket. Street parking is only where white lines are painted on the street, so find one of those spots or park on the driveway. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to rent again!

We had a larger group so the 2 houses were great. Loved the yard and the location. We walked down for açaí bowls almost every day! Things I would improve on: better mattresses, a tv in the living room and better living room furniture. The seating was small and not very comfortable. Luckily we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. We had a wonderful stay in Honolulu in our little cottages near Waikiki. The location was perfect with a very short walk to Waikiki, parks, zoo, aquarium and restaurants. The cottages were very clean and had almost everything we needed to feel at home. Our teenage kids each had their own separate bedrooms, which was a huge bonus. If there would be any comments to add real coffee machines with grinders in each cottage would be a plus. We had a few small issues and the property management company took care of them quickly. The property was perfect for us. Celebrating our 30th anniversary by going back to Hawaii and bringing the family.
Having 2 separate cottages was perfect for parents and their grown children :).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was just what we had hoped for with easy access to dining, shopping and the freeway. The houses were pretty well equipped, maintained and clean. We will stay again and recommend to friends and family.
