Great location and quiet place, access to the hotel was fantastic
The power went out the second day of our 5 night stay. I contacted VACASA multiple times and go no answers. They just kept saying they would have to check with the local team and get back to me. (They never did.) We left the rental and went to a hotel instead. I asked for an update or a refund and got the same reply from VACASA. That they would get back to me, but never did. Terrible customer service! It's been 3 weeks and I call VASASA almost every day and am still getting the run around!
There’s a bed that sleeps 2, but the twin beds were a joke- two ottomans that fold out, are hard as a rock and collapse if a person lays on one. The couch was pretty grimy and not suitable to sleep on. We ended up having to buy an air mattress. In addition to that, the place was really worn down and dirty. Not a house keeping issue, but needing a deep clean, a/c filter replacement, tile repair in the shower. Customer service just never responded to us. Really frustrating. You’re in Turtle Bay, so that’s nice, but otherwise would NOT recommend.
A great spot if all you’re looking for is a touchdown space between the beach and dinner (they have beach chairs and pretty decent towels). It’s was pretty dirty and could use a proper deep clean. Make sure you don’t drop anything important because if it rolls under any of the furniture, you’ll want to leave it there.
Location in between Kuhuku and Haleiwa allowed easy access to many beaches on North Shore. Great value compared to other accommodations in area! Convenient parking. Would recommend.
This place was in a great location, in the middle of the North Shore! Pros: we felt safe the whole time. We had the pool to ourselves every time we went! Living area is pretty big. Washer and dryer is so convenient! Soaps and shampoos smelled so good! Bed was comfy. There was actually a broom and vacuum, unlike other Vacasas we've been to. Also more supplies than usual. Salt and pepper is nice! Kitchen is well stocked Cons: Air conditioners struggled. Thank goodness for the ceiling fans and the extra fan they have! The bedroom is a bit musty. We didn't get sent the gate code, so that was frustrating, even though they said it would be in the notes. Overall, would definitely stay again. Loved the location, close to everything on the North Shore! Make sure you try Kula Shave Ice and the coconut banana bread from Mom's Bakery at the sugar mill! We became addicted to both!
