Hono Kai B17

This place is close to a public park where you can rinse the sand off before coming to the condo. Also able to get to the beach easier. My only complaint is we had to go to the park to access the beach easy.

You could watch the ocean from the balcony and from the edge of the couch. I liked the room's shade and privacy. The resort’s rooms that face the ocean get too much sun, and people at the pool can look into the oceanfront rooms. Appreciated the cookies left for us. We like being able to walk to the whale-watching cruise and to a very nice restaurant, Havens. And one night we bought tickets to the reggae concert at Da Playground, which was also close enough to walk to.  We had a small Mazda rental car and didn't mind the skinny parking spots, but others may not like them.

Walking distance to all we need during our stay! Although some update may be nice, the condo is very clean!

Proximity to nice beach and the boat harbor

We loved the location of Hono Kai very much. It’s midway between north and south Maui, so it’s conveniently located to make day trips to the north south or east. The beach that it’s on is mostly undeveloped and quite remote; you can walk down the beach quite far. Inside the space is clean & bright, and we didn’t hear anyone the whole week. Nice view of Lana’i from the balcony where it’s nice to listen to the waves.

Very good location, close to Maui aquarium and other shops. Condo is right next to beach, can see it from our patio. Good for families. I recommend.
