Island Sands #306 is described as a great value with a welcoming, comfortable space that guests enjoyed and would recommend. The home is noted as clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped for a convenient stay. Guests appreciated the convenient location for exploring the island and the nearby ocean attractions. The standout feature is the amazing ocean view, with beautiful sunrises, whale watching, and even sea turtles visible from the lanai. Great experience, the stay had all amenities. It was well maintained and clean. Community and view was amazing. The location is perfect to reach any spot in island with an hr. Nearby Restaurants options were limited

A comfortable, mostly updated condo with an amazing view of the ocean! No beach access from the property and minimal amenities in Ma’Alea Village required frequent driving. A rental vehicle is a necessity to stay at this property. It is basically located halfway between Kehei and Lahaina. Overall, we did enjoy our stay

This is a very old home. The only 2 things that this home has (that's why 2 stars) are, the balcony opens up to beautiful views of the ocean where we saw dolphins, whales and turtles and, the beds in this hone are very good. Other than that everything else is lacking in this home. Tht service from Vacasa team was good where they tried to fix things quickly. But since this home is so old that things break down (such as AC, water leaks, balcony door, garbage disposal etc.). The biggest issue is that even though this house says they have 2 bathrooms only one person can get hot shower for exactly 7 minutes. Apparently, the hot water heater is so small in this unit only one person can get hot water service for 7 minutes in either of the bathroom after that the water is cold in the showers. If you run the showers in parallel in both bathrooms, the hot water is there only for 3.5 minutes exact. So 2 people can get hot water in 2 showers for 3.5 minutes only. So that was a very very disappointing thing that was never addressed. This was a big issue for especially after we came back from the beaches and we needed the shower, we did not get hot water. So I don't recommend this home and will look at other properties if I go back to Maui.

The location is wonderful! It’s nice to be on the third floor to see the sunrises every morning. We even saw sea turtles from the lanai. Perfect space for a family of four! Convenient location to Kihei, Wailea, and Ka’anapali.
