Overview

This condo is perfect for a large family as it offers two spacious bedrooms. There is a full-size and well-equipped kitchen plus a wet bar with an additional fridge on the other side. The large living area and dining room table accommodate the entire group comfortably. A sofa bed is in the living room for added sleeping arrangements. The lanai provides an extra-large space for relaxing and feeling the breeze. The A Building at Molokai Shores captures the breeze more than the others. It is an easy walk out of the condo over the grass to the enclosed pool area. The pool has a table with umbrellas and lounge chairs. There is a putting green in front of the condo, along with BBQ and picnic tables on the grounds. The shuffleboard court is located on the backside of the pool. WHAT’S NEARBY Molokai Shores is about a mile walk into town. On Molokai's west end, you will find some unspoiled beaches. Kepuhi Beach is great for surfing in the winter and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer. Just a short walk from there and over the old golf course is Papohaku Beach, Hawaii's longest white sand beach. THINGS TO KNOW Internet is available, but may be spotty. The island of Molokai is not Maui; the only way to get there is by plane. Do not attempt to book a ferry ride. There is no operating ferry, but the website is still up and taking payments. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations by Casago. A mandatory $30 check-in/resort fee will be assessed.

The grounds and location!

I come to Molokai a couple time a year for work (from Maui) and stay at VRBO condos often. This one was like most, comfy and relaxed. The rooms are not fancy but they are comfy and fine for a casual getaway. The kitchen has appliances but there are no storage containers for leftovers, ziplocs or even aluminum foil or saran wrap.... there were no extra paper towels (roll was nearly empty upon arrival). Just simple things like that would have been helpful. Many of these condos have seasonings at the very least... so stock up at the store before heading to the condo. But the condo being on the bottom floor was great to just pop out to the pool or the beach for beautiful sunsets! We used the onsite grill and made the best steaks ever!!!!! We were there for work, but it was a mini vacay at the same time and enjoyed our home away from home. Convenient and comfy. I would stay again for sure.

This unit was clean, spacious, and comfortable with updated furniture (than the ones in the photos). Vacasa & Molokai Shores staff were friendly, helpful, and awesome. Will use this unit again for work & personal.

The location is excellent. The grounds are beautiful. Loved that it was ground floor, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Beyond that it was a hot mess. Some of the furnishings were too dirty and old to ever come clean. The whole place needs a deep clean. The recliner was broken. The slider door latch broke the second day. Luckily there was a second slide that we could use to get to the lanai. After sending photos and a list of unsatisfactory issues, I was refunded my cleaning deposit. If they do a deep clean and change out some of the furniture it would be a great spot.

Ground floor unit, great spot to stay. Do your sightseeing in the mid-morning as the lanai gets direct sun. Afternoon and evenings are perfect!
